Past Reunions
At the'96 reunion everyone said we should do it again in a few years, and the suggestion of 2001: A Leete Odyssey (or Oddity!) were made for the name. And, true to plan, in 2001 many of us once again got together to try and reclaim our spent youth.
Leete Hall was booked for sports camps, so the reunion was headquartered at The Atherton in State College. The welcome party started at 7pm Friday night with appetizers and cash bar. On Saturday, folks did their own thing, visiting old haunts, shoppint, catching up, etc. (an amazing number of us bumped into each other at Playland, which is still there after all these years). Saturday night was the main event, a dinner dance at the Nittany Lion Inn from 7 until midnight. After that, many of us returned to the bar at the Atherton for more stories and tales. On Sunday, those that didn't have to leave early gathered for brunch at the Corner Room, before heading home, already making plans for the next reunion.
Robin Garrison Cooke, her daughter, and daughter's friends were kind enough to offer their house and sitting services for kids.
If you didn’t make it, you missed a great time for alums, spouses, friends, and families. If you've found your way to this page, but didn't get the word back in 2001, sign the guestbook! That way we'll be sure to get you next time around. We’ll be trying to make the next one even more memorable.
Once again, all those that attended extend their thanks to everyone who helped put the reunion together, and especially Ed, Donna, Doug, & Mike!
